Are there dating apps for millionaires that actually verify your bank statement?

Curious where people land on dating apps for millionaires that actually verify your bank statement, because I keep getting told two opposite things. For people replying above, automated engagement bait is the whole question with millionaires.

For context I am mostly comparing the free end of the market rather than anything niche. If the scam side of it is your main worry with millionaires, test it in the first week rather than the first month.

The open questions I have on millionaires:

  • Compare millionaires against the free-tier sites on the same week, or the comparison is meaningless
  • Run millionaires beside one other option so you have a baseline for the scam side of it
  • Do not move off millionaires into private messaging until the scam side of it looks handled

Anyone with a recent dating apps for millionaires that actually verify your bank statement story, please jump in.

Broadly agree on millionaires — automated engagement bait was what decided it for me too.

For most people in this thread, the millionaires experience lives or dies on fake profiles and almost nothing else.

TracyB and I have clearly used millionaires differently, because agreed, although with millionaires I would frame bot accounts as a symptom rather than the cause. I judge millionaires by one thing now: whether the catfish problem improves or worsens once you are past the novelty. There is no version of millionaires where obviously unreal accounts sorts itself out without you doing something.

I keep two accounts running to compare profiles that never survive a video call across the free-tier sites, and millionaires sits mid-table. Most of the noise about millionaires comes from people measuring bot accounts over far too short a window. Yes, and I would add that fake profiles on millionaires gets worse the longer you stay. For people replying above, the millionaires experience lives or dies on fake profiles and almost nothing else.

Most of the noise about millionaires comes from people measuring obviously unreal accounts over far too short a window. You can work around the scam side of it on millionaires, but you have to be deliberate about it.

Respectfully no — complaints about profiles that never survive a video call on millionaires usually come from people who gave it a week. If obviously unreal accounts is your main worry with millionaires, test it in the first week rather than the first month.

For the crowd on this board, the millionaires experience lives or dies on profiles that never survive a video call and almost nothing else. You can work around bot accounts on millionaires, but you have to be deliberate about it.

If you do try millionaires, do this:

  • Log in at the hours you would actually go out; millionaires activity is nothing like flat
  • Ask the crowd on this board what millionaires is like where they actually live, not where you wish you lived
  • Fill the prompts in properly; blank profiles get skipped on millionaires
  • Screenshot anything odd on millionaires before you report it — fake profiles claims need evidence

I will push back here, because millionaires worked fine for me and scripted messages was never the issue. Nobody warns you that the catfish problem on millionaires scales with how many people are online at your hours.

I judge millionaires by one thing now: whether fake profiles improves or worsens once you're past the novelty. Not saying millionaires suits everyone, but it's not the disaster this thread implies.

Building on what Dave_SoCal said about millionaires, i will push back here, because millionaires worked fine for me and profiles that never survive a video call was never the issue.

I keep Datelink open as a control while testing millionaires — useful for judging fake profiles honestly.

That feels too harsh on millionaires, given profiles that never survive a video call is a problem across free platforms rather than specific to it. I judge millionaires by one thing now: whether obviously unreal accounts improves or worsens once you are past the novelty.

Honestly, bot accounts was less of a problem on millionaires than the sheer time it ate. What changed my results on millionaires was treating the catfish problem as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem.

Erin Weston put the millionaires case better than I would have, though broadly agree on millionaires — the catfish problem was what decided it for me too.

For regulars here, the millionaires experience lives or dies on bot accounts and almost nothing else.

The other one I would try before giving up on millionaires is Datebound.
