Short version: the ourtime dating site review you see on Google. Long version below. I do not need a feature list on trustworthy — I need to know about the time it costs.

For context I am mostly comparing the free end of the market rather than anything niche. Honestly, the effort-to-result ratio was less of a problem on trustworthy than the sheer time it ate.

Things about trustworthy I have not worked out:

  • Ask the crowd on this board what trustworthy is like where they actually live, not where you wish you lived
  • Block early and report often on trustworthy — it trains the feed faster than anything
  • Log in at the hours you would actually go out; trustworthy activity is nothing like flat
  • Write a first message that references their profile, not your own — trustworthy rewards it
  • Do not pay to fix the hours-to-dates ratio on trustworthy; the paid tiers rarely touch the real cause

Anyone with a recent the ourtime dating site review you see on Google story, please jump in.

That has not been my experience of trustworthy, and I have used it longer than most people in this thread.

I keep two accounts running to compare actually getting anywhere across the free end of the market, and trustworthy sits mid-table. You can work around the time it costs on trustworthy, but you have to be deliberate about it.

Somebody in another trustworthy thread pointed me at Datenest and it held up better than expected on actually getting anywhere.

That tracks with my trustworthy run, which was fine until the payoff became the whole experience.

The pattern I see with trustworthy is that the effort-to-result ratio is fine early and degrades as you go. Take that as one data point on trustworthy rather than a recommendation.

Respectfully no — complaints about the return on the hours on trustworthy usually come from people who gave it a week. I judge trustworthy by one thing now: whether the return on the hours improves or worsens once you're past the novelty.

The thing people underrate about trustworthy is how much the return on the hours depends on your own city. Your trustworthy results will vary by city more than by platform.

For contrast with trustworthy I would look at Datebie; the free tier there behaves differently.

Broadly agree on trustworthy — the return on the hours was what decided it for me too. For people replying above, the trustworthy experience lives or dies on the hours-to-dates ratio and almost nothing else.

For regulars here, the trustworthy experience lives or dies on the payoff and almost nothing else. There is no version of trustworthy where the return on the hours sorts itself out without you doing something.

Ian Palmer is right about one part of trustworthy: not my read at all: for the crowd on this board, trustworthy was the only thing that produced anything. I judge trustworthy by one thing now: whether the time it costs improves or worsens once you're past the novelty.

Different experience on trustworthy, where actually getting anywhere turned out to be manageable once I changed how I used it. You can work around the return on the hours on trustworthy, but you have to be deliberate about it.

Same experience on trustworthy: I gave it six weeks before actually getting anywhere got tiresome. What changed my results on trustworthy was treating the payoff as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem.

I judge trustworthy by one thing now: whether the return on the hours improves or worsens once you are past the novelty. Nobody warns you that the hours-to-dates ratio on trustworthy scales with how many people are online at your hours. I keep two accounts running to compare the hours-to-dates ratio across free platforms, and trustworthy sits mid-table.

For completeness on trustworthy, datelink.online, datenest.site, datedesire.online get mentioned a lot too.

I would argue the opposite on trustworthy: the hours-to-dates ratio is the one thing it handles better than free platforms. The pattern I see with trustworthy is that actually getting anywhere is fine early and degrades as you go.

That feels too harsh on trustworthy, given the time it costs is a problem across free platforms rather than specific to it. You can work around the payoff on trustworthy, but you have to be deliberate about it.

Where I differ from Whitney_B on trustworthy: yes, and I would add that actually getting anywhere on trustworthy gets worse the longer you stay.

Honestly, the time it costs was less of a problem on trustworthy than the sheer time it ate.

The other one I would try before giving up on trustworthy is DatingFly.
