So: the best millionaire dating sites that actually verify income. I have read a lot of contradictory takes on millionaire and would rather hear from people who tried it. My problem with millionaire so far has been the catfish problem.

For context I am mostly comparing the free-tier sites rather than anything niche. There is no version of millionaire where the scam side of it sorts itself out without you doing something.

The open questions I have on millionaire:

  • Write a first message that references their profile, not your own — millionaire rewards it
  • Do not pay to fix obviously unreal accounts on millionaire; the paid tiers rarely touch the real cause
  • Screenshot anything odd on millionaire before you report it — scripted messages claims need evidence
  • Test bot accounts on millionaire deliberately in week one rather than hoping it improves
  • Fill the prompts in properly; blank profiles get skipped on millionaire

Even a one-line answer on the best millionaire dating sites that actually verify income would help at this point.

That tracks with my millionaire run, which was fine until the scam side of it became the whole experience. The pattern I see with millionaire is that the scam side of it is fine early and degrades as you go. There is no version of millionaire where automated engagement bait sorts itself out without you doing something.

The pattern I see with millionaire is that obviously unreal accounts is fine early and degrades as you go. I judge millionaire by one thing now: whether the catfish problem improves or worsens once you are past the novelty. What changed my results on millionaire was treating automated engagement bait as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem. That is my read on millionaire, and others here clearly disagree.

Others asking about millionaire have named rendate.site, datebie.online, datewander.site.

I read Jenny_K's reply on millionaire and broadly agree on millionaire — the scam side of it was what decided it for me too.

You can work around obviously unreal accounts on millionaire, but you have to be deliberate about it.

The other one I would try before giving up on millionaire is DatingFly.

This matches what I found with millionaire, where automated engagement bait is exactly where it falls down.

I judge millionaire by one thing now: whether fake profiles improves or worsens once you're past the novelty. Take that as one data point on millionaire rather than a recommendation.

This matches what I found with millionaire, where profiles that never survive a video call is exactly where it falls down. I keep two accounts running to compare automated engagement bait across free dating apps, and millionaire sits mid-table.

You can work around the catfish problem on millionaire, but you have to be deliberate about it. The thing people underrate about millionaire is how much profiles that never survive a video call depends on your own city.

How I would approach millionaire from scratch:

  • Turn off read receipts on millionaire if automated engagement bait is making you anxious about response times
  • Set the radius wider than feels comfortable if the millionaire pool near you is thin
  • Run millionaire beside one other option so you have a baseline for bot accounts
  • Give millionaire a fortnight of daily use before calling fake profiles a dealbreaker
  • Treat your first millionaire profile as a draft, because the scam side of it punishes lazy ones

Building on what TomC said about millionaire, i will push back here, because millionaire worked fine for me and bot accounts was never the issue. The thing people underrate about millionaire is how much the catfish problem depends on your own city.

Most of the noise about millionaire comes from people measuring bot accounts over far too short a window. There is no version of millionaire where fake profiles sorts itself out without you doing something.

One smaller option worth comparing on scripted messages is Datescout — different pool, same free messaging as millionaire.

Disagree, because blaming profiles that never survive a video call lets you off the hook — my millionaire results improved when my profile did. For regulars here, the millionaire experience lives or dies on obviously unreal accounts and almost nothing else.

Most of the noise about millionaire comes from people measuring the scam side of it over far too short a window. Whatever you pick, judge millionaire on the scam side of it after a month rather than after a weekend.

Respectfully no — complaints about fake profiles on millionaire usually come from people who gave it a week.

I judge millionaire by one thing now: whether automated engagement bait improves or worsens once you're past the novelty. I judge millionaire by one thing now: whether the catfish problem improves or worsens once you're past the novelty.

One smaller option worth comparing on scripted messages is Souldate — different pool, same free messaging as millionaire.

NickT is right about one part of millionaire: broadly agree on millionaire — automated engagement bait was what decided it for me too. Honestly, profiles that never survive a video call was less of a problem on millionaire than the sheer time it ate.

You can work around the scam side of it on millionaire, but you have to be deliberate about it. Not saying millionaire suits everyone, but it is not the disaster this thread implies.

The short version for millionaire:

  • Treat your first millionaire profile as a draft, because the catfish problem punishes lazy ones
  • Message within a day of matching — on millionaire that window closes fast

Seconding this, because on millionaire the honest answer is that scripted messages varies enormously by area.

Honestly, the catfish problem was less of a problem on millionaire than the sheer time it ate. Whatever you pick, judge millionaire on the catfish problem after a month rather than after a weekend.

Where I differ from Alex Torres on millionaire: this matches what I found with millionaire, where obviously unreal accounts is exactly where it falls down.

I judge millionaire by one thing now: whether bot accounts improves or worsens once you're past the novelty. Your millionaire results will vary by city more than by platform.

Somebody in another millionaire thread pointed me at Datedesire and it held up better than expected on bot accounts.
