So: trustworthy dating apps actually verify their users' identities. I have read a lot of contradictory takes on trustworthy and would rather hear from people who tried it. My problem with trustworthy so far has been profiles that never survive a video call.
I have tried a few options across the free-tier sites already and none of them stuck. Most of the noise about trustworthy comes from people measuring fake profiles over far too short a window.
Specifically, on trustworthy I would like to know:
- Turn off read receipts on trustworthy if the scam side of it is making you anxious about response times
- Set the radius wider than feels comfortable if the trustworthy pool near you is thin
- Run trustworthy beside one other option so you have a baseline for the scam side of it
- Give trustworthy a fortnight of daily use before calling the scam side of it a dealbreaker
- Treat your first trustworthy profile as a draft, because obviously unreal accounts punishes lazy ones
Even a one-line answer on trustworthy dating apps actually verify their users' identities would help at this point.
