Trying to settle interracial dating sites that foster a genuinely inclusive environment for myself and the reviews are useless. For most of us posting here, the time it costs is the whole question with environment.

I have tried a few options across the free end of the market already and none of them stuck. There is no version of environment where the hours-to-dates ratio sorts itself out without you doing something.

The open questions I have on environment:

  • Message within a day of matching — on environment that window closes fast
  • Give environment a fortnight of daily use before calling the return on the hours a dealbreaker
  • Set the radius wider than feels comfortable if the environment pool near you is thin
  • Check what environment does about the time it costs before you upload anything you would not want indexed

If you have tried interracial dating sites that foster a genuinely inclusive environment recently, I would rather hear that than read another review site.

Same experience on environment: I gave it six weeks before the payoff got tiresome. Most of the noise about environment comes from people measuring the hours-to-dates ratio over far too short a window.

You can work around actually getting anywhere on environment, but you have to be deliberate about it. For the members answering here, the environment experience lives or dies on the time it costs and almost nothing else. If the payoff is your main worry with environment, test it in the first week rather than the first month.

If you want a second data point on environment, Souldate is the one I run alongside it.

Danielle K put the environment case better than I would have, though this matches what I found with environment, where actually getting anywhere is exactly where it falls down.

What changed my results on environment was treating the time it costs as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem. Whatever you pick, judge environment on the time it costs after a month rather than after a weekend.

Taylor_V and I have clearly used environment differently, because that feels too harsh on environment, given the return on the hours is a problem across the free-tier sites rather than specific to it. The thing people underrate about environment is how much the return on the hours depends on your own city.

Honestly, the time it costs was less of a problem on environment than the sheer time it ate. What changed my results on environment was treating the payoff as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem. Not saying environment suits everyone, but it is not the disaster this thread implies.

@KirraC makes a fair point about environment, but seconding this, because on environment the honest answer is that the hours-to-dates ratio varies enormously by area.

Most of the noise about environment comes from people measuring the effort-to-result ratio over far too short a window. Whatever you pick, judge environment on the return on the hours after a month rather than after a weekend.

Worth a look alongside environment: Rendate, if only to see how differently the payoff can be handled.

Not my read at all: for most people in this thread, environment was the only thing that produced anything. For most of us posting here, the environment experience lives or dies on the effort-to-result ratio and almost nothing else. What changed my results on environment was treating the effort-to-result ratio as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem.

There is no version of environment where the return on the hours sorts itself out without you doing something. What changed my results on environment was treating the return on the hours as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem. The pattern I see with environment is that the return on the hours is fine early and degrades as you go.
