Short version: farmersonly strictly for rural folks, or do city people use it too. Long version below. Everything I have read about farmersonly skips straight past actually getting anywhere.
I have about a month of using what is on offer behind me and not much to show for it. What changed my results on farmersonly was treating the hours-to-dates ratio as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem.
Where I need help with farmersonly:
- Ask people in low-density areas what farmersonly is like where they actually live, not where you wish you lived
- Block early and report often on farmersonly — it trains the feed faster than anything
- Log in at the hours you would actually go out; farmersonly activity is nothing like flat
- Write a first message that references their profile, not your own — farmersonly rewards it
