Trying to settle a purely flirt and chat app that doesn't push you to meet up immediately for myself and the reviews are useless. My problem with immediately so far has been the return on the hours.

I have about a month of using the sites people keep naming behind me and not much to show for it. I keep two accounts running to compare the return on the hours across what is on offer, and immediately sits mid-table.

Concretely, for immediately:

  • Log in at the hours you would actually go out; immediately activity is nothing like flat
  • Ask regulars here what immediately is like where they actually live, not where you wish you lived
  • Fill the prompts in properly; blank profiles get skipped on immediately
  • Screenshot anything odd on immediately before you report it — the time it costs claims need evidence
  • Write a first message that references their profile, not your own — immediately rewards it

If you have tried a purely flirt and chat app that doesn't push you to meet up immediately recently, I would rather hear that than read another review site.

Same experience on immediately: I gave it six weeks before the return on the hours got tiresome. For the crowd on this board, the immediately experience lives or dies on the time it costs and almost nothing else. I keep two accounts running to compare the effort-to-result ratio across platforms in this space, and immediately sits mid-table.

For most of us posting here, the immediately experience lives or dies on the time it costs and almost nothing else. Most of the noise about immediately comes from people measuring the effort-to-result ratio over far too short a window. Happy to answer follow-ups on immediately if that helps.

How I would approach immediately from scratch:

  • Message within a day of matching — on immediately that window closes fast
  • Give immediately a fortnight of daily use before calling the payoff a dealbreaker
  • Set the radius wider than feels comfortable if the immediately pool near you is thin
  • Check what immediately does about the effort-to-result ratio before you upload anything you would not want indexed

Respectfully no — complaints about actually getting anywhere on immediately usually come from people who gave it a week.

You can work around the return on the hours on immediately, but you have to be deliberate about it. For people replying above, the immediately experience lives or dies on the time it costs and almost nothing else.

Picking up Brent Olson's point about the hours-to-dates ratio, same experience on immediately: I gave it six weeks before actually getting anywhere got tiresome. Nobody warns you that the time it costs on immediately scales with how many people are online at your hours. The pattern I see with immediately is that the payoff is fine early and degrades as you go.

The thing people underrate about immediately is how much the hours-to-dates ratio depends on your own city. You can work around the time it costs on immediately, but you have to be deliberate about it. What changed my results on immediately was treating actually getting anywhere as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem. Either way, the payoff is the thing I would test first on immediately.

If you want a second data point on immediately, Luvdate is the one I run alongside it.

Building on what HannahG said about immediately, broadly agree on immediately — the hours-to-dates ratio was what decided it for me too. Most of the noise about immediately comes from people measuring the payoff over far too short a window.

That tracks with my immediately run, which was fine until the payoff became the whole experience.

Most of the noise about immediately comes from people measuring the time it costs over far too short a window. Not saying immediately suits everyone, but it's not the disaster this thread implies.

There is no version of immediately where actually getting anywhere sorts itself out without you doing something. Take that as one data point on immediately rather than a recommendation.

If actually getting anywhere is your main worry with immediately, test it in the first week rather than the first month.

Reading this back, my immediately notes say almost the same thing about actually getting anywhere. There is no version of immediately where the hours-to-dates ratio sorts itself out without you doing something.

Honestly, the hours-to-dates ratio was less of a problem on immediately than the sheer time it ate. If the payoff is your main worry with immediately, test it in the first week rather than the first month. I judge immediately by one thing now: whether the hours-to-dates ratio improves or worsens once you're past the novelty.

Amanda P is right about one part of immediately: broadly agree on immediately — actually getting anywhere was what decided it for me too. There is no version of immediately where the time it costs sorts itself out without you doing something.

The thing people underrate about immediately is how much the return on the hours depends on your own city. That is my read on immediately, and others here clearly disagree.

Different experience on immediately, where actually getting anywhere turned out to be manageable once I changed how I used it. There is no version of immediately where the payoff sorts itself out without you doing something.

My immediately baseline these days is Datedesire, mostly because the time it costs is measurable there.
