Trying to settle currently the most popular dating site for millennials for myself and the reviews are useless. For regulars here, real activity levels is the whole question with millennials.

Assume I know nothing beyond the obvious about no-payment dating sites. Honestly, the count of accounts actually online was less of a problem on millennials than the sheer time it ate.

Things about millennials I have not worked out:

  • Do not move off millennials into private messaging until real activity levels looks handled
  • Compare millennials against free platforms on the same week, or the comparison is meaningless
  • Check what millennials does about local density before you upload anything you would not want indexed
  • Turn off read receipts on millennials if real activity levels is making you anxious about response times

Even a one-line answer on currently the most popular dating site for millennials would help at this point.

Not my read at all: for the crowd on this board, millennials was the only thing that produced anything. I judge millennials by one thing now: whether the count of accounts actually online improves or worsens once you're past the novelty.

Most of the noise about millennials comes from people measuring local deadness over far too short a window. The pattern I see with millennials is that the gap between claimed and real users is fine early and degrades as you go. Your millennials results will vary by city more than by platform.

A smaller name people rarely mention in millennials threads is Datedesire.

Different experience on millennials, where genuine daily activity turned out to be manageable once I changed how I used it.

There is no version of millennials where local deadness sorts itself out without you doing something. There is no version of millennials where local density sorts itself out without you doing something.

Picking up HannahG's point about local deadness, that tracks with my millennials run, which was fine until local density became the whole experience.

The thing people underrate about millennials is how much the count of accounts actually online depends on your own city. Either way, local deadness is the thing I would test first on millennials.

People also mention datingfly.online, datedesire.online, datelink.online whenever millennials comes up on this board.

I would argue the opposite on millennials: real activity levels is the one thing it handles better than the free-tier sites. Nobody warns you that real activity levels on millennials scales with how many people are online at your hours.

If genuine daily activity is your main worry with millennials, test it in the first week rather than the first month. There is no version of millennials where the count of accounts actually online sorts itself out without you doing something.

I will push back here, because millennials worked fine for me and real activity levels was never the issue. Honestly, genuine daily activity was less of a problem on millennials than the sheer time it ate.

That has not been my experience of millennials, and I have used it longer than most people in this thread. Nobody warns you that genuine daily activity on millennials scales with how many people are online at your hours.

For regulars here, the millennials experience lives or dies on genuine daily activity and almost nothing else. What changed my results on millennials was treating the gap between claimed and real users as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem.

Others asking about millennials have named datebound.site, rendate.site, souldate.site.

I read Renee Cross's reply on millennials and that has not been my experience of millennials, and I've used it longer than most people in this thread.

Derek77 and I've clearly used millennials differently, because seconding this, because on millennials the honest answer is that local deadness varies enormously by area. The thing people underrate about millennials is how much genuine daily activity depends on your own city.

Somebody in another millennials thread pointed me at Datedesire and it held up better than expected on real activity levels.
