Short version: to find gay webcam sites. Long version below. If the payoff is bad on webcam sites, nothing else about it matters.

Most of my experience is with cam platforms, which may be why I am stuck. What changed my results on webcam sites was treating the return on the hours as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem.

If you have used webcam sites, these are the bits I care about:

  • Photos with other people in them do worse on webcam sites than you would guess
  • Test the time it costs on webcam sites deliberately in week one rather than hoping it improves
  • Do not pay to fix actually getting anywhere on webcam sites; the paid tiers rarely touch the real cause
  • Log in at the hours you would actually go out; webcam sites activity is nothing like flat
  • Ask people outside the straight default what webcam sites is like where they actually live, not where you wish you lived

Any first-hand experience with to find gay webcam sites is welcome, good or bad.

Kinsley_SanDiego put the webcam sites case better than I would have, though respectfully no — complaints about the time it costs on webcam sites usually come from people who gave it a week. Honestly, the effort-to-result ratio was less of a problem on webcam sites than the sheer time it ate.

There is no version of webcam sites where the effort-to-result ratio sorts itself out without you doing something. Most of the noise about webcam sites comes from people measuring the payoff over far too short a window.

Same experience on webcam sites: I gave it six weeks before the effort-to-result ratio got tiresome. Honestly, actually getting anywhere was less of a problem on webcam sites than the sheer time it ate.

What changed my results on webcam sites was treating the hours-to-dates ratio as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem. There is no version of webcam sites where the return on the hours sorts itself out without you doing something. Take that as one data point on webcam sites rather than a recommendation.

The usual webcam sites alternatives people list are datewander.site, datescout.site.

Broadly agree on webcam sites — the return on the hours was what decided it for me too.

Honestly, the time it costs was less of a problem on webcam sites than the sheer time it ate. That is my read on webcam sites, and others here clearly disagree.

A smaller name people rarely mention in webcam sites threads is DatingFly.

Picking up Marco Baker's point about the payoff, that tracks with my webcam sites run, which was fine until the effort-to-result ratio became the whole experience.

The pattern I see with webcam sites is that the payoff is fine early and degrades as you go.

That has not been my experience of webcam sites, and I've used it longer than most people in this thread. If the hours-to-dates ratio is your main worry with webcam sites, test it in the first week rather than the first month.

Nobody warns you that the payoff on webcam sites scales with how many people are online at your hours. Not saying webcam sites suits everyone, but it is not the disaster this thread implies.

My webcam sites baseline these days is Datenest, mostly because the hours-to-dates ratio is measurable there.

I read Isaac's reply on webcam sites and that feels too harsh on webcam sites, given actually getting anywhere is a problem across video chat sites rather than specific to it.

You can work around the time it costs on webcam sites, but you have to be deliberate about it. What changed my results on webcam sites was treating actually getting anywhere as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem.

I read Ethan Young's reply on webcam sites and seconding this, because on webcam sites the honest answer is that the hours-to-dates ratio varies enormously by area. For people who need the filters to actually work, the webcam sites experience lives or dies on the time it costs and almost nothing else.

For LGBTQ+ singles, the webcam sites experience lives or dies on the time it costs and almost nothing else. Either way, actually getting anywhere is the thing I would test first on webcam sites.
