Signed up specifically to ask about platforms currently hold the title for the highest rated dating apps on the App Store. Hoping for something on rated dating apps more useful than a top-ten list. If the time it costs is bad on rated dating apps, nothing else about it matters.

Assume I know nothing beyond the obvious about the free end of the market. What changed my results on rated dating apps was treating the return on the hours as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem.

What would actually help me judge rated dating apps:

  • Log in at the hours you would actually go out; rated dating apps activity is nothing like flat
  • Ask people who have actually tried it what rated dating apps is like where they actually live, not where you wish you lived
  • Fill the prompts in properly; blank profiles get skipped on rated dating apps
  • Screenshot anything odd on rated dating apps before you report it — the time it costs claims need evidence
  • Write a first message that references their profile, not your own — rated dating apps rewards it

Any first-hand experience with platforms currently hold the title for the highest rated dating apps on the App Store is welcome, good or bad.

Disagree, because blaming the hours-to-dates ratio lets you off the hook — my rated dating apps results improved when my profile did. I keep two accounts running to compare actually getting anywhere across the free end of the market, and rated dating apps sits mid-table.

What changed my results on rated dating apps was treating actually getting anywhere as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem. There is no version of rated dating apps where actually getting anywhere sorts itself out without you doing something. Either way, actually getting anywhere is the thing I would test first on rated dating apps.

@Mia Thornton makes a fair point about rated dating apps, but this matches what I found with rated dating apps, where actually getting anywhere is exactly where it falls down. The thing people underrate about rated dating apps is how much the payoff depends on your own city. Most of the noise about rated dating apps comes from people measuring the return on the hours over far too short a window.

I judge rated dating apps by one thing now: whether the payoff improves or worsens once you're past the novelty. You can work around the return on the hours on rated dating apps, but you have to be deliberate about it. Whatever you pick, judge rated dating apps on the payoff after a month rather than after a weekend.

For the members answering here, the rated dating apps experience lives or dies on the payoff and almost nothing else.

Different experience on rated dating apps, where the hours-to-dates ratio turned out to be manageable once I changed how I used it. You can work around the hours-to-dates ratio on rated dating apps, but you have to be deliberate about it.

Most of the noise about rated dating apps comes from people measuring the hours-to-dates ratio over far too short a window. The pattern I see with rated dating apps is that actually getting anywhere is fine early and degrades as you go. If the return on the hours is your main worry with rated dating apps, test it in the first week rather than the first month.

Building on what Madison Reed said about rated dating apps, that tracks with my rated dating apps run, which was fine until actually getting anywhere became the whole experience. If actually getting anywhere is your main worry with rated dating apps, test it in the first week rather than the first month.

I keep two accounts running to compare the hours-to-dates ratio across the free-tier sites, and rated dating apps sits mid-table. Honestly, the time it costs was less of a problem on rated dating apps than the sheer time it ate. The pattern I see with rated dating apps is that the time it costs is fine early and degrades as you go.

Chloe_W and I've clearly used rated dating apps differently, because broadly agree on rated dating apps — actually getting anywhere was what decided it for me too. Most of the noise about rated dating apps comes from people measuring actually getting anywhere over far too short a window.

What changed my results on rated dating apps was treating the payoff as a filtering problem rather than a platform problem. I keep two accounts running to compare the effort-to-result ratio across the free-tier sites, and rated dating apps sits mid-table. Not saying rated dating apps suits everyone, but it is not the disaster this thread implies.

@HannahG makes a fair point about rated dating apps, but that has not been my experience of rated dating apps, and I've used it longer than most people in this thread.

I keep two accounts running to compare the return on the hours across no-payment dating sites, and rated dating apps sits mid-table.

Worth a look alongside rated dating apps: Datewander, if only to see how differently the time it costs can be handled.

Where I differ from WillK on rated dating apps: that has not been my experience of rated dating apps, and I have used it longer than most people in this thread.

KatieM is right about one part of rated dating apps: reading this back, my rated dating apps notes say almost the same thing about the time it costs.

I keep two accounts running to compare the hours-to-dates ratio across free dating apps, and rated dating apps sits mid-table. Either way, the payoff is the thing I would test first on rated dating apps.

The other one I would try before giving up on rated dating apps is Souldate.
