1,421 members have posted in the FlameDate community forums. Each profile lists every thread that member has taken part in, newest activity first.

Member profiles exist so that a reply has an author you can check rather than an anonymous handle. If somebody makes a claim about a platform in one thread and contradicts it in another, the profile page is where you would notice. Profiles show join date, message count, the boards the member posts on and the full list of discussions they have contributed to.

Nothing on a profile is editorial. We do not rank members, award badges, or mark anyone as an expert, because a forum where the site decides who is worth listening to is not a forum. Members are ordered below by how many discussions they have joined, which is a measure of activity rather than of quality.

Reading any profile is free and needs no account. Replying to a member in a thread needs a free account and nothing more. All members are 18 or over, and reports about conduct go to moderation with the thread URL and post number rather than to the member concerned.

Profiles are generated from posting activity rather than filled in by members, so there are no self-written bios to inflate and nothing to game. What you see is join date, message count, board spread and thread history. A member with two threads and a member with forty are presented the same way, with the difference visible in the numbers rather than in the layout.

If you are trying to judge whether a reply is worth acting on, the profile is the fastest check available. Somebody who posts across six boards over eight months is describing a wider sample than somebody who joined last week to recommend one platform. Neither is disqualified, but the context is worth having before you take advice from either.
